Introduction to Game Development

Make Something This Summer!

Learn programming and interactivity through Game Development. No prior experience is needed. Over the 2 weeks, students will create two kinds of games such as a Platformer and Top-down style. Students will get an overview of the Unity editor (tools, scene view, game view and more), as well as how to build a project so they can show off their games. Students will also learn about topics such as sprites, collisions, physics, and audio. This course has a focus on programming and students will create their own behaviors by programming in C# such as basic AI movement common in 2D games. We will additionally have some exercises about various game design topics.
