Biography
As a physician assistant with more than 24 years of clinical experience in adult and pediatric neurosurgery, I believe that I have a responsibility to prepare future and current physician assistants for the complex roles they fulfill as clinicians, leaders, and scholars within the dynamic environment of professional physician assistant practice.

- Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) Pi Alpha Honor Society (2023). The Pi Alpha Honor Society is for the promotion and recognition of significant academic achievement, leadership, research, community/professional service, and the encouragement of a high standard of character and conduct among physician assistant students and graduates.
- ̨SWAGUniversity Jefferson Bronze Medal Award (2019). Known as the “Nobel Prize for public service,” the Jefferson Awards were established to recognize and honor individuals whose community service efforts best exemplify dedication to enhancing the quality of life in their community.
- Cure JM® Foundation Cure JM® Hero Award (2018). The award recognizes significant contributions to the Cure JM® mission which is to find a cure and better treatments for juvenile myositis and improve the lives of families affected by juvenile myositis.
