Biography

Dr. D'Agostino has been a critical care nurse practitioner since 2007. She initially worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) where she pioneered leadership roles for advance practice. She was one of the first NP coordinators and built a critical care APP team, rapid response, and sepsis team and was the inaugural associate medical director for MSKCC's Critical Care Center. She was the recipient of MSKCC’s Rudin Award in Nursing for Excellence in Leadership.

Dr. D’Agostino is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine where she was the chair of the Advance Practice subcommittee and vice chair of the APP Resource committee. She was also a member of the Congress Program committee helping to put together the annual congress content. In recognition of her various contributions, she was inducted as a fellow in the American College of Critical Care and American College of Chest Physicians.

Prior to joining the Lienhard School of Nursing (LSN) in January 2024, Dr. D'Agostino was a graduate program coordinator at Mount Saint Mary College. Her current role at LSN is specialty track coordinator for the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
