Narcan Training

Do you know how to help someone you suspect has overdosed on opioids? Do you want to develop practical civic skills? Join the Center for Community Action and Research as we partner on this interactive training to strengthen the knowledge and confidence you need to respond to a known or suspected opioid overdose emergency. You will be taught to recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose, identify appropriate care to provide based on the person's breathing and level of responsiveness and how to give medication to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Narcan will be provided to attendees.
